One of the most popular Israeli folk songs and folk dances, Janowski arranged this song early in his career.  This piece was lost, but  thanks to Daniel Zarb-Cousin  a staff member of The Max Janowski Society, who painstakingly took down the piano part from an old reel-to-reel tape, we are able to present this wonderful arrangement.

The proceeds from these sales are being divided between the Cantors Assembly and the Max Janowski Society, for the purpose of creating new editions of Max Janowski’s music, to educate performers, scholars, and future generations about Janowski’s musical legacy.
