Dear friends,

On behalf of the Cantors Assembly Foundation, we are thrilled to invite you to participate in the world premiere of a beautiful new masterpiece. Safe on the Shore is an epic choral composition by Judy Adelman Gershon (lyrics from Shirat Hayam and David Gershon) uniquely composed for all Cantors Assembly/CICA members and choirs of all ages. During these times of isolation, this virtual experience will enable us to unite in harmony as we dream of being Safe on the Shore.

You can do this!

Some of you might feel a bit nervous about making a virtual choir video. Singing all by yourself on a video can be intimidating. But don’t worry! You will be surrounded by a LOT of people singing along with you in glorious harmony. It will be professionally produced and you will sound fantastic! PLEASE follow the instructions. We want to make sure we can use your video after all your hard work. We will need your videos completed and uploaded by 9:00 am on Friday, March 12.

Note: There is no charge for CA members to participate! There is a nominal fee of $25/per non-CA singer to help defray production costs.
You may choose to collect from your choir members, use discretionary or music funds, or find a
sponsoring angel. All monies should be directed to the CA office.

Step 1:

CHOOSE YOUR GUIDE TRACK Choose the part that best fits your voice.  If you’re not sure which one to choose, please speak to your cantor or choir director. Your guide track will have your part louder so you can learn it and sing along with it when you make your video.

Step 3:
