THE NEW JERSEY CANTORS CONCERT ENSEMBLE is the world’s very first choir of both men and women cantors. Comprised of over twenty hazzanim, the Ensemble is sponsored by the Cantors Assembly New Jersey Region and is renowned across the country. Members of the Ensemble include cantors of Conservative, Reform and Reconstructionist synagogues in northern and central New Jersey and beyond. Funds raised at our concerts go toward scholarship assistance for cantorial students at the Jewish Theological Seminary, Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion and the Academy for Jewish Religion. Participants rehearse twice a month and may drive over 100 miles to events. All generously contribute their time and talent for rehearsal, performance and travel without any remuneration.

Shir Halleluyah!
