The Cantors Assembly, in partnership with the Jewish Federation of Greater Buffalo and Temple Beth Zion, is proud to announce ‘Cantors Chai 5K Run/Walk: Promoting a Healthy Mind, Body and Spirit’!
We are excited that you are interested in coming to run/walk/stroll with us Sunday, August 19 to kick off The Great Buffalo Jewbilee! This fun run starts at 9:00 am at Temple Beth Zion (805 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14209). The finish line is also at TBZ. All participants will receive a free t-shirt and a voucher to be used at The Great Buffalo Jewbilee!
Cantors Assembly members are clergy who seek to build lasting and meaningful connections among our congregants, to God and to their own best selves, while at the same time serving as ambassadors to the larger community. Though our members are most commonly known for their musical leadership, the Cantors Chai 5K Run/Walk is an innovative vehicle to help us build connections between our members and Jewish communities around the world by promoting a holistic, healthy lifestyle for cantors, their congregations and communities.
The Cantors Chai 5K Run/Walk events are fun and inclusive--a unique way to spend time with our members and the Jewish and surrounding communities. These events also serve as vehicles to build partnerships with other organizations.
For the August 19, 2018 event, we will be joined by the Jewish Federation of Greater Buffalo and Temple Beth Zion. Not only do we want to showcase the importance of these organizations to the local Jewish community, but we will also be sharing proceeds from this event with them.
